AboutÂ
My name is Carole Murphy and I am an Interventionist that specializes in formative assessment associated with literacy in the areas of reading and writing skills in K-8th grades. I am a graduate of Trinity College where I double majored in Education and History then later went on to pursue the area of literacy to specialize in reading and writing. I am trained in Wilson and Fundations, which many school districts use as programs in the regular and special education classrooms to teach essential phonemic and phonics decoding skills. I have been teaching for over 20 years in Monroe Township New Jersey and was a kindergarten and second grade educator before assuming the role as a Specialist.I am also available for Math instruction in grades K-5. I am a resident of Cranford and have 3 daughters. What I have learned through raising my children and being an educator over the course of my lifetime, is that no two children learn the same and I have dedicated myself to forming relationships with students along with assessing their strengths and weaknesses to build a program for academic success. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a consultation. I look forward to hearing about your child!
